“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.” – Martin Luther King
Learn to enjoy every minute of your life. Be happy now. Don’t wait for something outside of yourself to make you happy in the future. Think how really precious is the time you have to spend, whether it’s at work or with your family. Every minute should be savored. — Earl Nightingale
So here I am, starting yet another brand new blog. Years ago, I was an avid blogger, and since my very first blog, I’ve tried starting a couple more but unfortunately life took over and I failed. I really enjoyed it though, so I thought I’d try this again. I think what is different this time around is that I have more time. Jeff and I are empty nesters now. We have a lake home, and traveling is in our future. I mainly want this to be a place to share my thoughts and experiences through images and words; to have a virtual scrapbook and journal of sorts for my kids and grandkids. I’m not going to set a goal of how many posts I will do, I am not going to set any expectations. I am just going to do whatever inspires me. But, I am going to blog past trips, because honestly, I have so many beautiful pictures to share; and it’ll hold me accountable to finally do something with them instead of them sitting on my Amazon Drive. You can hold me to that. I also want to share my embroidery, crafty things, photo editing tips, and lots of pictures of my puppies. Anyways, I’d love if you subscribe, leave comments, follow along.
